Nature of Being

Immersive Retreat
Cederberg
13-15 March 2026

This retreat is an invitation to step out of habit and into direct experience — to explore what happens when we meet ourselves not through analysis or effort, but through body, landscape, sensation, and perspective. Through movement and stillness. Through gravity and suspension. Through water, stone, sky, and breath.

Aerial yoga becomes the physical metaphor — a place where effort, trust, play, challenge, resilience, flow, and surrender can be felt rather than explained.
Nature becomes the teacher — offering perspective, awe, and reflection on our own internal human nature

Aerial Yoga • Nature • Awe • Perspective

Held in the vast, uncompromising beauty of the Cederberg, The Nature of Being is a two-night immersion in aerial yoga, nature-based meditation, movement, rest, play, and perspective. It’s designed to gently but decisively interrupt autopilot — and remind your system what it feels like to be grounded, curious, light, and alive.

When: 13-15 March 2026

Where: Groot Winterhoek, Southern Cederberg

The Experience

  • Multiple aerial yoga sessions, from grounding and restorative to playful, flowing, and integrative
  • Guided Nature of Being meditations, using nature as metaphor for awareness, change, and perspective
  • Hikes through ancient sandstone landscapes
  • Cold mountain river swimming, offered as an invitation, not a requirement
  • Unstructured time for rest, wandering, journaling, or doing absolutely nothing
  • Playful dam time — swimming, floating, laughter, lightness
  • Stargazing under one of the most expansive night skies you’re likely to encounter

Who this is for?

This retreat is for people who:

  • step out of routine and into presence
  • reconnect with their bodies and instincts
  • experience nature as teacher rather than backdrop
  • explore play, freedom, perspective, and joy through lived experience
  • remember what it feels like to feel fully alive and fully connected
  • No prior aerial yoga experience required — curiosity is enough.
What makes this different?

What makes this different?

  • Aerial yoga is used as a living metaphor.
  • Suspension becomes a place to explore:
    • trust and control
    • effort and ease
    • strength and surrender
    • playfulness and resilience
  • Nature isn’t a backdrop.
It’s an active teacher — offering scale, silence, awe, and reflection on our own internal human nature.
  • You won’t be told what to think.
You’ll be invited to feel something different.

Flipping out

Flipping Out for Fun is a specially designed aerial yoga workshop that takes your practice off the mat and into the air. This (kinda) advanced workshop invites adventurous yogis to explore the incredible versatility of the hammock while cultivating courage, resilience, and a sense of play.

In this workshop, you will learn to flow through a series of aerial poses, dynamic inversions, and playful sequences that push your boundaries and build both physical and mental tenacity. We will explore the joy of being upside down, experiment with challenging poses and transitions, and develop strength, flexibility, and balance—all while suspended in mid-air. This isn’t just yoga; it’s a chance to embrace your inner child, laugh freely, and experience movement in a completely new way.

We’ll guide you through movements that foster relaxation, build resilience, and invite joy into your practice. Explore the edges of your comfort zone with poses that challenge and empower, then wind down with restorative sequences that emphasize rest and playfulness.

Soulprint

This workshop is a deep reflection into self understanding the story that lies within each of us. A story from the mind, the body and the soul. The story that reminds us of who we are beyond the critical mind and a performative society. A reconnection to joy, purpose, and meaning
